Clean Cities is offering up to 25 internships for students interested in helping the country reduce its dependence on petroleum, lower carbon and local air pollutant emissions, and in building a green economy in over 90 cities.
Clean Cities is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy's Vehicle Technologies Program and is open to junior or senior undergraduate students and students currently pursuing a graduate degree. Any students studying communications, public relations, business, marketing, engineering or environmental sciences will have the chance to build public awareness of advanced vehicle technologies, alternative fuels, and practices that reduce the consumption of petroleum.
Benefits
All interns for Clean Cities will receive a stipend of $7000 and must be available to work from the beginning of June to mid-August. Interns will have an opportunity to do something that really makes a difference. Internships may lead to full-time employment after college.
Locations
Internships take place in over 90 cities across the nation.
