Let's Discuss: What is Experiential Education?

Hiring new employees who have completed some form of experiential education is a key factor for many organizations today. These experiential experiences can go by a number of names; including, internships, co-ops, practicums, service learning, externships, apprenticeships, fellowships, as well as volunteer opportunities.

An old Chinese Proverb best describes the importance of experiential education:

"Tell me and I will forget.
Show me and I may remember.
Involve me and I will understand."

Good Day

I am wondering, has any of you used FAFSA to get a education grant before? To me their site is a lot confusing and am curious if anyone could explain how to get a grant.

Thanks in advance

I’m thinking about applying to this scholarship for single mothers. Has any body else done this?

Finding grants and scholarships can be time consuming but is well worth the effort. You didn’t mention if you were planning on attending an undergraduate or graduate program and what field you are interested in going into? You can often find opportunities specific to women and also specific to the industry you are hoping to enter (for example, healthcare).
