You can also search by zip code (for local searches) and international opportunities taken from leading job boards, websites, newspapers, organizations, and company career pages. Additional information is also available like simply salary (comparing job salaries) and employment trends.

Simply Hired is an easy to use database for finding internships in a wide variety of career fields and in numerous locations both nationally and internationally. It is this simpleness and effectiveness that makes it one of my favorites. As the name implies, Simply Hired is simple to use and this makes it up there on my list of favorite internship sites to use. Comparing salaries and employment trends are also useful tools although they may be more helpful when searching jobs rather than internships.

It’s also easy to search for internships by category, location, company, and industry to create a more advanced search. Another favorable feature is the ability to have internships sent directly via job search widgets directed to your igoogle, Facebook, etc., account. There’s even an opportunity to find information on the site on the highest job growth, lowest unemployment rate, highest average income, and shortest average commute.

The cool thing about Simply Hired is that they aggregate job listings from all over the web including direct employer websites, staffing and placement firms, job boards, etc. They also have some really cool tools like filters that can assist you in finding a job in a dog-friendly company (yes, for those folks who love to being their pets everywhere!) or an eco-friendly company (for those of us who are interested in working to save the environment). They also possess a sense of humor when it comes to job searching which can help relieve some of the stress from an otherwise stressful situation.
