Finding Internships & Entry Level Jobs on Experience, Inc.

By Penny Loretto, About.com

Experience, Inc., was first developed to link students, new graduates, job searchers, and employers together. Experience, Inc., was the first web-based college recruiting platform to hit the internet back in 1996. Experience, Inc., also offers numerous resources and advice for students and graduates. Thousands of colleges use Experience’s eRecruiting system as their career management system to manage their online recruiting programs.

Guide Review

Experience, Inc., is an outstanding resource for college students and new professionals. From internship and job listings to articles, stories, and videos – Experience, Inc., has it all. Numerous tips are available for students seeking or currently completing an internship. It’s easy to access the most recent internship listings or you can enter a keyword to search for an internship in your area of interest.

I particularly like the Exclusive Experiences and Defining Moments of Experience, Inc., which provides some unique short-term experiences for students as a way to get introduced to the workforce. The Short Defining Moments videos offer some great tips and unique perspectives of professionals from all walks of life. They provide students with great information on how professionals have achieved success and what they’ve done to get where they are in their careers. Students can even apply on the site to get their own experience.

Students can also elect to receive monthly newsletters on the following topics: alumni experience, student experience, diversity, engineering, healthcare, and finance.
