The Internship Bible from the Princeton Review is a favorite book of mine. It describes internships in over 100 different career fields. In addition, it provides information on the number of interns hired each year; additional perks offered; such as, concert tickets, dinners, and events; as well as exclusive interviews with professionals who work in a variety of career fields. I especially like the brief profiles of former interns and apprentices who give vivid accounts of their personal experiences. I find the book easy to use and really interesting due to the variety of experiences and the personal anecdotes and perks.
The Internship Bible also offers tips on resume writing, appropriate dress for interviewing, internship deadlines, and some of the most selective internships available. Information is available on career interests, internship location, internships abroad, internships available to international students, internships with minority programs, and special interest internships (Asian American, African American, Liberal, Conservative, Hispanic, Jewish, Middle Eastern, Native American, and Women’s Organizations).
You can check out google's online preview of The Internship Bible which does not include the entire book.
