From sports to theater there is no shortage of summer camp experiences to be found in the Northwestern part of the country. Whether your interested in the environment, technology, sports, music, art, water sports, educational activities, science, etc., you can most likely find a summer camp that offers one or more of your interests while also offering an engaging experience working with children.

Many more camp jobs exist around the country that offer various activities in a variety of locations.

1. Columbia Gorge Teen Camps

Columbia Gorge Teen Camps, located in Hood River, Oregon, provides camping experiences for children interested in photography, windsurfing, high adventure, and climbing and mountaineering.

2. iD Tech Camps

iD Tech Camps, iD Programming Academy, iD Game Design & Development Academy, and iD Film Academy are all held at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world. The summer computer camps are held in over 80 universities in the United States, including but not limited to: Stanford, UCLA, Northwestern, MIT, Yale, Vassar, Columbia, Emory and Harvard. iD Tech camps provide students with one or multi-week sessions. Students attending the camp will get exposure to film, gaming, programming, robotics, graphic and web design plus much, much more.

3. Mountain Meadow Ranch

Mountain Meadow Camps, located north of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, offers campers activities in animals, archaeology, archery,arts and crafts, backpacking, baseball and softball, basketball, canoeing, ceramics, drama, fencing, fishing, football, horseback riding, photography, riflers, ropes, sailing, soccer, swimming tennis, way boarding, water skiing, and water sports. 4. Cliff McCrath's Northwest Soccer Camp

Cliff McGrath's Northwest Soccer Camp, located at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, offers campers an intensive residential and day camp experience.

At Northwest programs are available for Future Stars ages 7 - 9; Field Players and Goalkeepers ages 10 - 18; Strikers and Goalkeepers ages 14 - 18: Elite players ages 12 - 18, Junior Advanced ages 10 - 13; and Advanced players ages 14 - 18. The staff provides campers with individualized experience and coaching and it's a great way to spend a summer for those interested in sharing their passion for the game of soccer.

In addition to individual challenging training sessions, Northwest provides indoor and outdoor optional activities as well as soccer adaptable games of basketball, soccer tennis and other options for free time.

5. Panacea Adventures

Panacea Adventures offers camping experiences in California, Colorado, Alaska, Pacific Northwest, North Carolina, and Hawaii. The program in California is located near Sacramento while the one in the Pacific Northwest is near Anchorage Alaska.

The Mountain to Sea: American destinations through Panacea Adventures in California and Alaska include activities such as: kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, surfing, whitewater rafting and zip lining.

6. Wilderness Awareness School Summer Camps

Wilderness Awareness School, located in Seattle, Washington, works to offer programs in cultivating an appreciation of nature, community, and self for children and teens ages 4 - 18.

Wilderness Awareness School provides summer day camps and advanced summer day camps as well as half-day camps and Wild Sprouts: Farm & Forest Camp for the younger campers. Teen overnight camps provide older campers with experiences on wilderness survival, scout awareness, and teen wolf tracking expeditions. Adult courses are also offered through the camp.
