Will Recent Law Suits by Students Begin to Set a Precedent?

As the season for looking for summer internships is upon us, the question of paid versus unpaid internships  is a common one.

Recent lawsuits in the past year seem to be having an impact on employers who typically have not paid their interns. This news can be both good and bad for college students seeking to get the relevant work experienced required priored to getting hired for a job. Some, like Fox Searchlight, now pays its interns but other employers are debating whether to modify their internship program or eliminating their programs altogether.
