The story of Hewlett-Packard is a long one by technology company standards and an extremely interesting success story, which includes a number of twists and turns over the years. Dave Packard, along with his close friend Bill Hewlett, started the company in Packard's garage with an initial investment of $538 back in 1939. The two friends tossed a coin to see whose name would come up first and Bill Hewlett won, hence Hewlett-Packard.
Hewlett-Packard today is the world's second largest software development corporation. As such, Software Development Internships abound. At H-P Software interns work on teams to deliver new products, working alongside software engineers developing new products and solutions.
