When submitting a resume to an employer, you must do all you can to ensure that it will make a positive first impression. It's extremely important to check it over carefully to make sure that it includes all of your relevant experiences and that there are no mistakes.  You only have one opportunity to make a positive first impression, so take the time to look it over carefully and have it looked at by several people that you trust.

Resumes provide employers with the relevant information they need on which to base a hiring decision so taking the time to look it over is usually a wise decision.  Since the importance of writing a great resume can't be overlooked, writing an effective resume is often all it takes to get an employer to take notice and invite you to come in for an interview.

If you have a resume that you think is ready to send, you may want to take a minute to check our, "5 Easy Steps to Improve a Resume" , before submitting your resume to employers.

There are some fascinating time limits in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There’s some validity but I’ll take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want extra! Added to FeedBurner as well
