With all that's currently going on about health policy in this year's presidential race, students attending medical school will get a much better understanding of the issues and learn how to advocate for those topics that are close to their heart.

The American College of Physicians Internship Program provides opportunities for medical students and internists to assist in researching current issues and analyzing health and medical education policies.

Students selected for the program will also get the chance to advocate for health policy and be involved in compiling materials to advocate for specific health policy issues.

Getting started in a medical career can be challenging and that's why ACP's internship program is such an important opportunity for medical students, internists, and internal medicine subspecialists.  Interns that complete ACPS's Health Policy Internship Program will also get a chance to participate in ACP's Leadership Day.

The internship will help students gain knowledge and experience in health policy and advocacy and will provide them with a chance to see the legislative process in action.
