INTERNSHIP PICK OF THE WEEK: The Defense Intelligence Agency

As part of The Department of Defense, The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is an important member of the United States Intelligence Community that is involved in U.S. military planning and intelligence operations during periods of peace, crisis, and war.

DIA's Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate college students an opportunity to gain the relevant work experience the government requires when hiring for high level agencies within the U.S. government. Students participating in the program will gain experience in analysis, research, report writing, oral briefings, policy development, program management, and compter applications as related to the intelligence field.

An experience with The Defense Intelligence Agency will provide students with an advantage when seeking a future job in a high level government agency once they graduate from college.  Be sure to check out some of the government internships that are available to be sure you get the relevant experience that the government definitely looks for.
