Proper Etiquette on the Job

If you are just starting a new internship or job, one of the first things you need to be concerned with is proper etiquette on the job.

Workplace etiquette is usually much stricter than what you've previously encountered as a college student.  Employers want to ensure that your time at work is spent doing work related to the job.

Technology and the use of electronic devices that so many people have learned to depend on, can definitely create problems on the job.  New employees must take the time to check out their company's policies in order  to avoid embarrassment and being singled out for violations of company policies.
