A resume is usually a requirement in the college admissions process.   Many students find this to be very challenging since they often feel that they have no real experience to include on a resume since they're still in high school.

The purpose of a resume is to document what you have accomplished so far.  The ultimate goal is to work hard and grow your accomplishments so that by the time you graduate from college, you have a strong professional resume you can submit when applying for jobs once you complete your studies.

Three tips to keep in mind when writing a resume:

1. Include any coursework, internships, jobs, volunteer, extra-curricular activities, special skills you feel would be important for employers to know.

2. Organize your resume so that it's easy for employers to find the information they are looking for.

3. Ensure that your resume contains no grammatical or spelling errors.
