INTERNSHIP PICK OF THE WEEK

Recognized as one of the top internships in the country, The Summer Internship Program for The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation provides many industry-wide internships to college and graduate students from across the country. This program is unique in that it provides college students with exposure to television production for eight-weeks over the course of the summer in Los Angeles, CA.

Applicants must submit:

1. A cover page indicating name, permanent home address, phone number, email address, college or university and expected graduation date, status, number and title of category applying for, photo (optional), minor and GPA, gender and ethnicity (optional)

2. Professional Statement of 300-400 words (reason for choice selection, understanding of profession).

3. Resume

4. Two letters of recommendation addressed to the Internship Committee (one must be from academic institution written on letterhead) and must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2010.

5. Transcript(s) (unofficial photocopies will be accepted).

6. Non-US citizens must provide an INS work authorization permit or CPT letter within 10 days after notification of winner status.
