Kanye West Interns at the Gap

Kanye West has taken on an internship this summer with the Gap of all places. It looks like the outcome may be a little different than for most interns since it’s speculated that Kanye may be looking to launch his own line of clothing for the retail chain which will gain him additional popularity and segua him into a new line of business. In the past Kanye has worked for Nike where he launched a new line of sneakers along with another line of sneakers taken up by the high-end fashion designer Louis Vutton.

About.com has ranked Kanye West #8 on their “Top 50 Hip-Hop producers” in the past and in 2008 he was named as the year’s #1 “hottest MC in the Game” by MTV. Fellow Guide on Rap/Hip-Hop, Henry Adaso, mentions Kanye a number of times on his site.
