New Grad Turns Part-Time Internship Into Full-Time Job

With an unemployment rate up to a 26-year high of 9.5 % in June, I get excited when I hear positive stories from new graduates who have somehow managed to land an internship or a job. Today's story is from Liz Castoro who shares her experience with networking as she tries to secure a full-time job but lands a part-time internship instead. The really awesome part of this story is that within 2 days the company was authorized to hire another full-time employee and Liz was immediately selected for the job. Great job Liz!

For those recent graduates who are frustrated about not finding a job, taking some time to research available internships might be the best alternative until the current job market opens up.

Yes, like Google Microsoft is another top rate internship that offers students amazing opportunities to get relevant experience in the field. In addition, completing an internship in a company such as Google or Microsoft really adds credibility to an otherwise uninspiring resume.
