If you have not yet secured an internship or job for the summer, several internships can still be found on the internet by searching through major internship databases. Other places to look for internships are the classified ads of your local newspaper, researching organizations by checking with the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as industry and corporate websites.

Also, don't forget that networking is considered the #1 job search strategy so why not use it in your search for a summer internship. Remember to contact family, friends, faculty, previous employers, and alumni of your college for internship leads for the summer. When contacting employers ask about possible summer internships or jobs available for college students.
