The Washington Post
If you are interested in writing, copy editing, graphic design, photography, an internship at The Washington Post might be for you. The Washington Post offers 12 week paid summer internships for students looking to further develop their skills in the above areas.
Qualifications:
The Washington Post hires college juniors, seniors and/or graduate students currently attending college with previous internships and/or experience on a college newspaper preferred.
Applications must be mailed to The Washington Post to be considered for an internship. Applicants are required to write an essay of a minimum of 500 words, include samples of your work, two recommendation letters, along with a college transcript (unofficial copies are accepted). Once your application has been mailed, The Washington Post asks that you notify them online.
